lord three chords
and echoing
humming
moans
through the sustain
down the gullet
faithful stain
of sharps in F
the bones
remain
tinkling the toes
again
leaving just an echo
same
"let it all remain"
again
leaning on the keys.

Take a tankard
flipping thumb
juices pleasing
teasing me--
nose in hint of
what I live
and marigolds
line my silt bed
wafting narrow circumstance
next to the cement.

Blush a blanket
color me
Take me take me take me
bleed
listening
yea  glistening--
the conch
is split complicity
licking at my ear.

Serenity, this was magnificent. I've missed you're words, heart, and your touch that you give to each write.

Makes me wonder why I am not independently wealthy and live on a tropical island with a cabana boy and an endless supply of pina coladas....

*sigh*

Ditto on that love ya.

ya had me from the title on.....
love the way you rhymed this down the page
with your imagery and gift of verbiage.
achingly lovely baby.

Words break into splinters on the pages I write
If I lost you I don't know what I'd do ...

serenity,
