Autumn the imposter
sprinking
the green eyes of summer
with flames of raging fire,
toasted and dried,
how they litter the ground,
estinguished
to cinder,as the wind
drags them home

He's right you've described this better than most could.

I agree.
You wrote it in an amazing way.

I elect you Goddess of Autumn! This is powerful and poetically outstanding.
I was just watching those leaves falling this morning and I have written a little senryu too about it.

See the golden leaves
wave goodbye in the soft breeze
feel their touch of love

Love and hugs. Margherita
