Looking Up

I would probably not trip so much
If I were to look down
More often
But I choose to look up
To see the sun set on geese in flight

Listening to their cries
Of encouragement
To those who follow

When I look up,
I see more than just blue skies,
I feel more than the sun on my face
I hear more
Than the wind in my ears ~

Sometimes,
It’s just easier to say thank you

When looking up.

Hi Kari...just the thought made me smile. I watch them too. One of the reasons I love Autumn.
