Where blue skies meet blue ocean

The loneliness doesn't hit me
As long as my mind is occupied
But creeps up in bed next to me
To lie so quietly by my side

Out of a deep sleep it awakes me
Like a cold air across my skin
And I'm back to counting hours
Until the sun begins to rise again

Been there....done that, Deb. We can block it out with effort but it's always there, ready to sneak in as soon as our defenses are down. You say it very well
