From the notebook

~~~~~
{nights enfolding, holding close
mystery of storm and earth}
Such fine lines on smooth stones--
does any one really notice?
they were born from
summer shadows
     a place   only you
spoke of
again   tender
waiting   for grace to fall
words
remind me     your
eyes  were color of storms
dipped in indigo   ink
Will the wind ever remember the names
it has blown in the past with
its crutch its old age and its widsom
it whispers no this won't be the last
