Come this eve
           Veils are thinner
And curves show that are
Beyond our touch
yet entice
As if in an eastern dance
    with your eyes
The grace that beckons me
into mystery that lies behind

Show me the shadows
  And all that they hold
Dormant perhaps
       Or fey in understand
With hope I might catch
the corners of movement
Swift
       to disappear

I’ve built a fire
       in backlight  of all
That comes between
And know some grey shrinks
When viewed by name
So, I fear not
the demons you say
Lie close to you

Here is a robe of sky
Dark, from the weave of hands
That blended stars to make heaven
And left open the warp
So such things as you would hide
Are not trapped in the weight
Put it on…

we will begin…

late I will watch you dance this night
And catch the darker parts of understand
As you in all the flicker of flame
Spin free the dragons teeth
                              Of this our personal sin

*smiling at you*

if you build it...they will come
(moth chuckling)

RON...you ARE the flame.

Words break into splinters on the pages I write
If I lost you I don't know what I'd do ...
Burn forever where the flame turns blue

Ron no matter what you write I always seem to be able to learn something, be it about writing or life in general, I always take something with me after reading your words.
Thank you for that....

OMG, but this one robes me in poetry.
I think the thermostat in here just kicked on.

We think the veils are thinner, but they are not.

We are thinner.

What a lovely garment you write...etherial, yet also sexy.  Enjoyed this!

You sweet man, you
Even when you write of the scary stuff, Capt. Ron,
you sprinkle romance in there. And, we all love
it, my friend.

Veils...
fey...
magic...
you covered it all...
and then uncovered it quietly...

Well done, Sir.
