Halloween We all have walked spooky dark winds Where spirits and ghosts entangled our mind. When fear excites a fearful brood And lanterns light a ghoulish mood Afraid to move afraid to jump Afraid to bump a goblins rump Every shadow seems to groove Your frozen stiff you cannot move An ogre stands behind each tree Your breath is short you want to pee You dare not touch a living thing Afraid the boogieman will spring And spring he does the first loud sound Brings your heart to squeeze and pound Makes you cringe in weepy leer And sweat boils up in creepy fear Then stay you home and draw the curtain Especially Halloween for certain |
