Tonight the nightmares come alive
and yet there's lesser of the fears,
allowing for the screaming out
and streaming down of weary tears.

Tonight revolves of setting free
inhibitions left in wake.
A blind eye to the days to come,
masks allowing all that's fake.

Deciphering the fall that came
that crept into a desperate mind.
The hand of death that kisses me,
the reaping of the grim in find.

Tonight I watch the shadows walk
the darkness grabbing, holding to.
The spirit of this eve in hold,
the laughter from the weakness due.

I've hallowed in the halls too long,
in nakdthoughts dressed for its ease.
Tonight I stretch and breathe the air
and traffic in the sounds of tease.

I'll see the deadened and the true,
haunted houses in between
to right the rhyme and sing the tune
of Fall upon the scary scene

Tonight the naked is just Maureen~~~

Nicely penned poem,

Not sure I will dress up for the occasion,
My normal is scary enough.

Just as your writing is good, your normal excels
No matter whose name it is written under

Thank you Mr.Gloom...but I think there are scarier faces and costumes running around...I shall be among them this evening.
My heart needs a bit of racing lately.

Oh you knew I was going to read this just because of the title. Nakd! LOL! Great piece sweetie. Loved it...but then you knew I would. Sorry I haven't been able to reply as much as usual this past week. Had oral surgery and feeling woozy still. Looking forward to reading everything just as soon as my world stops spinning.
