Where utter madness stalks it's prey with merciless intent
are shadow creatures, cloaked in gray enjoined in covenent,
to wrest the the hold of sanity from all who venture near
unto the heart of darkness 'til are overcome by fear.

The smell of it lay heavy, almost tangible as sweat,
in fever dreams strange visions pooled, I glimpsed its' silhouette,
engulfing its' surroundings at an ever growing pace,
and visiting Damnation on all souls who spied its' face.

It glowers in some some dark recess with others of its' kind,
projecting twisted images on unsuspecting minds.
It is the "Great Usurper" wherein all who do succumb
have very little chance they might escape delirium.

Of those who have, it's said, you may conclude by what they write,
another of these interludes might bring strange things to light.

Kethry,
Thank you friend. A name that will be remembered, as it has.

Hey Doc! I like the shade of this one.  Very dark.  And yet, a smile crossed this face as the name Toerag came to mind.  Peace my friend.
