I Understand That Your Heart Aches |

 Webshots ~*~ If you are hurt and heartbroken from a shattered love Please know that I understand for I have been there before I know the ache and pain of the heart when someone Twists and turns like a knife in heart seeming not to realize or care They keep doing their thing fulfilling their own desires, not caring That they are trampling all over the wants and love of you I know the feeling that things would never change That those feelings of despair would last all of my days The feelings of rejection when they start a new relatonship Crushing my pride with his own and could care less for doing it And then.... Just when I came to terms with being all alone Because I would never let myself trust enough to again fall in love He came into my life bringing with him a love as I have never known before loving me as much as he loves himself I still have those feelings of doubt and fear at times But, the feelings of those are happening farther and much farther between I want to thank my Love for giving his love to me Complete with his heart and all the rest of himself ....unconditionally |

I know this feeling of which you speak! My last love broke me and to this day I still fear it happening again, but the new love of my life has changed it all with his sweet selflessness and I thank him everyday. I related well and I loved the flow of words and the rhythm of the poem as well. ~Live and Laugh~ The problem with resisting temptation is you never know if you'll get the chance again |

Hi Gemma  I thought of you as I was writing this. Like I told Dixie, I do believe there's someone out there just for you. And, it might be like it was when Gary and I met....happening very unexpectedly. But, after it does happen, you will be so happy about it.... just like I am. ambrish, you are so right...it's one of the hardest things a person will ever do. If you are specaking of yourself, I do hope that someone will come into your life that you can trust, completely. . Oh Sue, my friend...I know that you do. And like I've told you before, there is your special someone out there somewhere. I love that song... "Somewhere Out There", don't you? Love ya, sweet lady. . James, that's the way I feel, too. If it's not unconditional, there is always something missing. If someone has never been loved this way before, they really don't know what they are missing. From your poems, I can tell that you understand. Thanks. . Thank you so much, Lauren. You are so sweet, and it can come to you again. As I told the others, I believe it will, because you have a lot of love in your heart to give. I want to thank you, too, for helping me in the Teen Forum these past two weeks while I've been on DM rotation. Goodness, it's been BUSY back there, hasn't it? But I love it. This was such a lovely poem of hope for the heartbroken.... it will mend... it just takes time. We all have to kiss our appointed number of frogs before we actually find our prince... and sometimes we wonder how many times well just end up with warts on our lips instead... but it does happen. It just takes a while to learn to trust and love again. I am glad you have found you prince.
