This morning with snow
brings robins to a warmed bath.
Others wait their turn.

Thanks to new member Kensho_Cinder* for the inspiration.

like the picture...lol.. but be careful with those flames or you'll be sporting less whisker and more face...

also like the poem...  the image well done.. the message.. if applied to humanity as a whole.. fitting, if we learn to wait.

Thank you, 23.

CPat, glad you liked.
Funny thing though, I'm still seeing the old pic' here.  How does that work???
Thanks for the caution too, but in nearly 25 years I have yet to burn anything I didn't intend to (knock-on-wood).
Now if I could only light up what doesn't seem to want to burn . . .

Thanks, Sunshine.

Helen, but stay warm, ok?

Hi E.A!
The magic is a little warm water on a frosty morning.  Draws a crowd.
Thanks for peeking in.

Hi Krawdad...glad to see you...it's a tender heart that warms the water for the birds and then enjoys the view.  With all the fires here in California, your new picture interested me.

Hi Susan,
Thanks.
Been very busy but nice to be back for awhile.

Martie,
I hesitated a bit in posting the pic', given what's happening in CA.  Not meant to make light of your crisis.  Part of my work.
