A Tear of Desire

A tear has slipped into my heart
And ripped away a little part
Within the acid of desire
I have lit my soul afire.

I thought that it would never come
But when it did it struck me dumb
And I accepted every bit
And now I can’t extinguish it

There is a hole within my soul
And only she can make it whole
For I am tied within my vows
And only God can more allow

In anguish and in sorrows vent
I cannot stay the holes extent
Nor can I open up the door
To say the end of evermore

Another vend another bend
Who can say what would the end.

Beautiful words of love, ones of which I am so very familiar with and sometimes wish I could put out the fire....
very well done Sey, morning hugs doll!

You have venue, you have ways
to set your sighs upon the stage
we sit in wait of all you say,
and applaud a most temperate rage.
