The Land of Your Decieve

Tell me...

What is it like to lay in wait,
lurking, hoping, I'll take the bait.
Offering up your ill-will, of which I'd
better be thrilled.
What's it like taking your bitter pill?

Tell me..

What's it like to wallow in your hate?
Condemning with your sepluchre right by your side.
Wondering in contemplate; what can I do to you?
In your evil state...hoping no one will find what you hide.

Tell me...

What does it feel like when you fail?
Do you conjure your cronies, your demons from hell?
Your common place, your dwelling space, from where you hail.
Are you busy honing your skill on this day, like all others, moving in for the kill?

Tell me..

What is it like to breathe such a loathsome self, one such as you?
Do you ever ponder what it would be like to do something with truth?
Is there ever a day you don't wish someone death, you say they are due?
Oh mighty one, your hatred, yes your hatred, the one for you so tried and true.

Tell me...

Does it stroke your hair at night, and whisper away your adversary, to bright?
Does it tell you all you want to hear, tickle your ears, then leave you?
Leave you to take you where you want to believe; The land of your decieve?

Tell me...

Does it tell..when end of the day has come, Oh Mighty Sire, you have acheived!
You have condemned one more to their fiery grave, quite the knave are thee.
All your subjects, are they loyal, do they stab in the nights dark with a picture of you in mind?
Do they grit their teeth, and seethe to think you are so blind.

Tell me...

Would you pay a ransome price to suffer not in your skins dwell
To not smell the stench of your inner cell.
Do you ever wonder what the hounds of Hell would do to you
If you ever found it in yourself to do the right things, things that are full with truth?

Tell me...

In your quiver, is there many? Or are they gone on feeble attempts?
When you approach your dwell of many friends do you surely limp?
And when the eve'n falls do you sit in your chamber counting the souls you've sent to dwell in dread?
Do you count the one's you made wish they'd die, instead they lay, and bled?

Tell me...

What does it feel like to know you have blood on your hands
And all the while the stench of your soul glories in the execution of yourdeeds.
Does it give a feeling of so grand
To watch, to see, someone suffer from lack of meeting their needs?

Tell me...

Do you lick your fingernails after eating the flesh of your sorted seed?
Does your veins flow, already, with the want of another, one to sate your greed
Oh Mighty One, Oh Grand Sire, all your subjects, the ones dwell in thefire, the ones that loyal be, the ones that stab in grit of teeth, Do they desire the flesh of Thee!?

Oh my gosh...nice fella, huh? Yikes..scary indeed! Well this is about Satan, and I was inspired by one such as himself! I'll say. Anyway, it's halloween time. I thought it would be a good time to write about Satan, and his followers. Thanks for the read, and comment!
Love,
Terri~

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Terri, this is so very heartfelt and haunting, dearest friend, I just read Dante's Inferno and that truly touched me deeply, like it's an extended parable of how to seek redemption and penitence by taking a walk through the many parts of Hell and understand the sinners! (sad sigh) It saddens me to see many turn away from Him and be vulnerable to Satan, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Terri, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I think many who visited our house last night thought my son was the creature you describe so well in this piece - he played the role perfectly ... well done...
