Poets In Love

I live so
vicariously through
your tender eyes
and watch
as color
overcomes
blank canvas
new pigment
mixed with
past teared words
to explode in
uncontainable joy
brushing the edges
bringing echoes where
silence use to be

"Tough times never last...tough people do." carol gardner

I'm claiming this . . .
I was first nah nah
My God . .  Helen
beautiful writing
to see love as this:

as color
overcomes
blank canvas
new pigment
mixed with
past teared words
to explode in
uncontainable joy

is a gift in itself
your words . .  are love

Helen, you did a good job
commemorating what you see
through another's eyes...

Helen,
==================
new pigment
mixed with
past teared words
to explode in
uncontainable joy
==================

And some of us know by experience how possible it is. So very well done!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I need to look in dictionary for word “vicariously”, now I think many of us do this.  Thank you for teaching new word with good poem

...and my brush touches the canvas with a life of it's own, unguided by this hand of mine, because the picture it paints . . . is you.

Beautiful piece, dear friend, as are they all ... jwesley

Helen, you have penned a poem speaking divine truth!

There is nothing like two poets in love
being, feeding from the inspiration of one to the other...

~ARH

True poets don't write with the ink of quill or pen, but with the ink of their heart~
