Sailors lost at sea
Rejoice as dense fog rises
To greet smiling sun.

Nicely done. I can see it and feel their relief.

Midnitesun ~

It is terrifying when a fog blanket as thick as pea soup suddenly rolls in and you cannot see anything!

I went fishing for Atlantic salmon with some fishermen I met while vacationing in Newfoundland. I'll never forget the sound of the fog horns. Even though the situation was somewhat dangerous, it was also peaceful and surreal. The memory is like a haunting recurring dream.

(smiles) Yay, oh Linda, it makes me so happy when lost sailors are found as the oceans have claimed too many lives as it is! (big hugggsssssss) I know how bad the fog can get over the ocean, particularly the Atlantic, and it takes more than rose compasses to make it through! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

My lighthouse paintings have always been the first ones to sell in an exhibition. Lighthouses have a certain mystique to them that captures our imaginations.

Linda Lou, in these few words, you made me see the boat, with the sailors on it...the worried look on their faces in the fog...and the the broad grins of relief when they saw the sunshine. A very happy scene, my friend.
