Revelation

I paused a moment, time stood still
A shiver passed, I felt a chill
A shaft of silver moonlight shone
Upon to a name, a date, a stone.

And in my mind I passed away
Into the past some other day
A day of joy and laughter’s sound
With birds and bees and ants around

A checkered clothe upon the green
A day of warmth a loving scene
Of eyes, of flirt and woolen sighs
With petty words and soulful lies

This is when I brim a tear
This happy time of yesteryear
It holds me fast a full blown seem
I could not call it quite a dream

And ere I cross into this zone
This heavy loss, I leave a stone.

for some unknown reason to me
then they pass

and i never know why......
thought provoking as always.......

JM,
Good morning Tink, What are you doing up so early, turning the clocks back? Your reply has just made my day. You know it doesn't start till I hear from you.

Good Morning Sy! (So what if I am a day late...)

I really enjoyed this one, esp. the lines above..

"if you won't let me fall for you
then you won't see the best that I would love to do for you"

There are revelations,
and then there are
Sy equations.

A cup of coffee, a poem of Sy...
I'm set to go!

Gee,  I get to reply to an orange pumpkin
setting...

You masterfully pull us through your mind
with a pen which writes endlessly...

Thanx Sy....until the morrow breaks a new
dawn...when you rise again.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Seymour, this is sure a poignant bittersweet poem, sweet friend, as George Harrison says, "all things must pass" but if we cherish it all dear to our hearts nothing ever changes! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
