Each to their own they speak to show
how shadows move and pave the way
and how on earth we all must grow
till dead in graves; dead, dead, I say.

But I must live, to see, to feel,
combined and merged, a composite
of spirit love in me set free
and on the ground the opposite.

Begat unto most a daughter, son,
to further walk and talk some more
of men, machines, and evil done
and lay the blame at heaven’s door.

Not from heaven down to earth
regaled as truth by wisdom’s fool
for who can claim to know since birth
who sunk the garbage in the pool.

Backward I flow in my death throes,
a tinkling harp or sounding brass,
from love I came, love takes me home,
and there the truth; at last no farce.

And the weak shall inhabit the earth
till strong in the sense of their worth!

Helen

Helen...I find this disturbing, but always you speak with such stength.  I hope you are well.

Thanks, Martie.  Yes, I'm fine - just a little bump in the road.

That's a fine line when looking for
and easy way out, but we both know better.

Liked this too~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not from heaven down to earth

who sunk the garbage in the pool.

Damn those muddy waters anyway.

So glad I went looking for you Helen.
You poetry is a galaxy of words,
that never fail to hit head on.

Bluesy!  Hello!  Thank you for looking and reading.  I do always appreciate your supportive replies and should I ever put my rambles together in one place, you've given me the title ... "A galaxy of words"!  How amptly that describes the way I write - or perhaps - "From the ether of dreams, a galaxy of words" which tells it like it is.
Be well.

Hi, JWesley!  A little bit of anger sometimes at the process of growth that brings naught but heartache!  Can't blame heaven though, only me!  Thank you for reading and commenting.

Helen, you are a singular unit of measurement by which I can measure my own journey.

Thank you.

As you perhaps rightly say, "we are only god"
but the journey now only in its infancy sure leads us around the mulberry bush in seemingly never ending circles or cycles.  Only God knows the reason but I have to believe that we will eventually branch off to peace that surpasses all understanding.
