Do You Hear the Call

Do You Hear the Call ?
Do you hear it?
Do you hear the call?
That vigorous feel in the air.
That time of year; it's fall!

That time of year that says,
set back your clock.
Don't be caught an hour late
Make sure you don't forget, or hear the seasons mock.

Laugh it will; saying to you,
I told you, by the leaves sure change.
The coolness in the air, see you knew
You can tell by the seasons rearrange.

Smiling I am, because Old Man Winter, my friend.
Well he's just around the bend.
I'm just here in his recieve.
And in summers heat, relieve.

Do you hear it; the seasons call?
Don't forget the clock; back one hour it must fall.

A little reminder for daylight savings time.

Ah, SharaRose, like clockwork, my body slept in one hour today, ready to be sent back in time, yet again, for tomorrow.

Listen to your body...
it's ready for burrowing...

Thank you - I enjoyed this very much.

Thanks...I appreciate it.

Thank you sunshine...burrowing? Well under a blanket maybe, but not a hole in the ground I'd hope. My body doesn't burrow under the ground I like blankets..they are soft places.

Ethel...Thanks for the read. I am glad you liked.

Thanks Noah...yeppers..it's that time again.

Yes, I do hear it call. This is a cute poem. I already set mine back, since I have to be sure and get up at 4:45 a.m. in order to leave for work by 6:00a.m..
