Breezing thru
the stripped branches,
the sound of an xylophone
singing to me
thru the grey chill of morning.

Why must I follow the wind still?

Perhaps for the same reason
as I put on Celtic music
when I can
on early Saturday mornings.

Perhaps it is because
we are gypsies
at heart.

Enjoyed the brevity of this, because it leaves so much room to ponder with you.

Oh, sweet nymph, be careful
Perhaps it is the song of Narsisis
You hear "breezing through the stripped branches"
That sings to you sweet nothings
Perhaps it is better "you follow
The wind still" further
"In the grey chill of the morning"
*
"Sweet Echo, sweetest nymph, that liv'st unseen
Within thy aery shell
By slow Meander's margent green.
And in the violet-embroidered vale,
Where the love-lorn nightingale
Nightly to thee her sad song mourneth well"
*
Milton...exert, from "Lady's song in Comus"
*
Well done, inkgoddesss ......ice.....

What color in the tone of your chosen words...
As I looked into the heavy morning air...I could feel the wet of anticipation...

(smiles) Because we are all children of the wind and when you hear the xylophone within you know it's a melody you can trust! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
