Anna Miller's Pies

What would you do
if I told you
that I was madly
in love with you.
Would our
friendship suffer?
Would we progress
from friends
to lovers?
There, I've finally
spoken my heart.
Will my words
bring us closer
together or will
they drive us
apart?

I not sure I understand correctly, but telling of love always good thing to do.  If not tell, how they know you feel.  I hope friend turn lover for you.  Like poem much

Thank you for responding Lotus...I called this Anna Miller's Pies because I have known a waitress that works at this restaurant for about three years now and I love her personality and her look...unfortunately she has been with someone else ever since I have known her so I don't believe anything will happen...but lots of things have already happened in my heart and I will continue to admire her...James

You help understand, I thought maybe it just be her cooking that make you love. Like saying here “through a man’s stomach”
Good luck, show her poem might be good help

Aaah, lots of us can relate with this one, I'm sure. I know I can...But I have no advice to give, because none of my relationships ever seem to work out quite right, lol.

Liked your poem James.
If you say anything to the lovely lady about your love, in the days to come it would make the lady uncomfortable. For now remain a true friend because friendship is hard to find. In the future who knows what life will bring.
Now onto the not to serious.

I wondered about the pies.
Now I'm hungry.
Enjoyed the poem, James.  Thank you.

LOL, I wondered about the pies, too, James.
I'm glad that you explained.

Also, as you probably know from some of my poems,
Gary and I were friends in the beginning, then we
became best friends. And now, even after we have
fell so deeply in love with each other, we are
still  best friends. This has never happened
to me before, and it is wonderful to be in love
with your best friend. We talk about things neither
of us have ever talked about with anyone else.
I hope that you find true happiness, James.
If not with this lady, with someone else.
Hugs
Ethel

Give me a man who says they have never fallen
in love with a love that is not theirs,  and
I will say they speak with forked tongue.

Nice write JM,  thanx for the explanation,
helped me piece the pic together completely.
