i walked a while on broadway
feeling the wind on my back
until i talked to that man
the man who sold the blues

i danced a bit on the sidewalk
and showed a little bit off
but i didnt get that special rush
til i met the man who sold the blues

oh, and this man he was like magic
this man he was like glue
until this man, he lost the keys
the man that sold the blues

Oh, and i dived off the highway
striking into land headfirst
but i never felt that special hurt
till i talked to that special man
(which one?)

the man who sold the blues
the man who sold the blues
i cant wait to leave this man
the devil who sold the blues!!

(big hugggssssssss) This is a powerful debut with much depth and cadence to it, sweet friend, nothing should ever be sold away, it should always be given away! Welcome to Passions, sweet friend, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your lovely words, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Welcome to Passions. Love the little song. Wonderfully done. Powerful enterance to the forum. Hope to see more soon.

Ninety-Eight Cents

Aye the discordant notes were never heard,
Though you knew he had played them by his frown,
His performance pressed onward undeterred,
Ripping from his six string what he'd cast down.
With triplets and harmonics he gave voice,
To the music which whispered from his soul,
And I hearkened to the notes not by choice,
'Twas as if I had lost all self-control.
I closed mine eyes and saw the palest blue,
Issue softly forth from each ringing chord,
Each note pierced my heart...indeed it sliced through,
The wounds I received couldn't be ignored.
Into his open case I threw my change,
It seems art's worth ninety-eight cents. That's strange!

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
