Horses and Daisies

He rides a horse of weary trot
A dappled gray of was and not
That stops along the muck of seem
To pluck at daisies of his dream

A reprobate as spirits go
A wit of age and melted snow
A dandelion of lurid wine
A salt that’s left of dried up brine

Laughable to young and spry
He cannot tell the truth from lie
He nibbles at the daisies fair
With humor, wit and not a care

Tongue to busy to bulge the cheek
And fantasy his nose does leak
He smiles and guile’s a style of rile
Chantilly’s lace a rose of wile.

He means no harm he says in force
This preen around, this risqué course

A dandelion of lurid wine
==================

That line is cooler than even COOL knows

And after our day under the arch you already know I'm loving the dapple grays of your poetic ways.

Sy...Many start their day with tea and your poetry, today I'm late, so instead of coffee...would you and that rascal horse like to join me for a beer?
