I met the Buddha in N’wawlins
the corner of Burgundy and Royale
He was headed for the White Castle
for a burger
I invited him to a chili dog
over on Bourbon
As we approached
the vendor eyed us suspiciously
I got that a lot…
a 21 year old hippie
with an Army buzz cut
and “Airborne” tattoed on my left shoulder
running from being a soldier
…and the little half naked fat guy
with a shaved head
and “Airborne” tatooed all over
His life
Upon our arrival the vendor queried
“howdjawancherdog?”
With relish, the Buddha exclaimed,
“Make me one with everything”

Boy, does the title have innuendo running all through it...

and I enjoyed the scene.  Very much!

Thank you.
