I felt it close, last night
among the warmth of tears
those butterflies inside
those of loss and fears.

Frightened of the still
the silence in the night
reordering my dreams
to fill the void of sight.

I pressed the words to heart
handwritten, soft in style
a newness to embrace upon
to breathe again with smile.

Wherever moments take us
those butterflies will stay
in love of friendship, stamped and sealed
to open come what may...
