* * *

My life has been fulfilling
My early years were so much fun
But there were days of darkness
When I struggled to find the sun

The loss of my beloved father
Plunged me deep into despair
But my words became my lifeline
And at the end I found you there

Through my words I built a bridge
Stretching far across the sea
I extended my hand of friendship
And shared the deepest part of me

Soon I met so many people
And they came from far and wide
My life had turned around
As I opened up inside

I feel a special connection
With the friends I cannot see
An invisible bridge now joins us
And brings you closer to me

to know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded."

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue:  What you are feeling for friends made here, is repreated over and over by others, who have had the same experience. This site is a melting pot of people from all over the world, who find a common ground and build wonderful friendships on it.  I'm so glad you are here where we can all enjoy your poems and you, as a person.

Love

Isn't it wonderful, Sue, that we can meet so many sweet people through our poetry? I'm so glad that I have...and I am glad that I met you.
