Midnight approaches with
reminders of how empty this
bed is without your dark head
facing me with heavy lids
awaiting kisses to kindle fires

The shiver that passes in quiver
along my bare reacts more to
lonely's cold than memories of old-
lay your warmth upon this pyre
as I am in dire
need...

A trembling response relays
the intent of midnight's chill --
this body above the covers
leeching heat from the room.
Oh to recall the taste, the taint
of slow, luxuriant touch's
escape, relapsing,
here, with you.

Where do I call to end
the silent war?

I cannot sleep unless replete
with your love,
But I languish here alone in weep.

My love, do not forsake me
Bring near your warmth to
wake me from this death...

Although I feel I know both of your works, still, I cannot tell who wrote what.  What I do know, however, is that I would like to see more from the both of you - together.

Good God this is beautiful writing

Tier and Mikey . . .
this reminded me instantly of
a warrior and his love . . .
apart . . . worlds apart
yet keeping that love within

lay your warmth upon this pyre
as I am in dire
need...

amazing lines you guys
Jesus this is just . . .
eternal
