Moved from a shack to a barn

In one day

You will know
(or won't)
if what you have seen
does indeed.......exist

In one day

You will see
(or not)
that I am merely human
a base animal.......man

In one day

You will hear
(perhaps)
the fears that I carry
within my voice.....hidden

In one day

You will realize
(I hope)
that standing before you
is all that I am

Tomorrow

You will feel
(I trust)
the love that I bear
translated to flesh.....at last

One day
or five
maybe three hundred
will not sway
what I know to be truth

One day
or seven
even one thousand
cannot hide this smile
alive within my eyes

One day
or twenty
possibly one million
will not steal this beat
not unlike your very own

One day . . . yes . . .

We both shall see the world
through another's eyes
only to realize
we were looking
through
our
very
own
in
the
first
place

Had to smile at this Ed.  Had a day much like it but I think I did a 72 hour countdown...lol.  Almost lost my nerve at the last minute and didn't go.  But it turned out to be a great day.
Will be thinking about both of you.  Relax.  Have a good time.  Easy for me to say huh?

Now we're getting to the good part.
What a special time it will be,
I wish you both a whole lotta love!

Your poem is true to form wranx,
brought a tear and a smile to my eyes!
I am so happy for you two, truly.
It just doesn't get any better than this.

Smiling HUGE for you two today...

Love and hugs to you both...

And, Karen?...I'd say that was a pretty
smart 'somebody' who told them that...

Nicely written, Wranx!
