There are places in this world
where are forces which converge.
To have stood within the circle
of their influence and feel

as if ancient flags unfurled
over armies ranks that surged
at command of unknown generals
makes that history more real.

To have witnessed old religions
and past practices of faith,
as the current of remembrance
flows within and overwhelms.

Out of blackness almost stygian
as the whisperings of wraiths
undeterred assault your senses
from some dark phantasms' realm.

With palms open to the heavens
and thoughts focused, feel the flux
of these energies amassing
that you cannot comprehend.

Mystic son your number's seven,
has it all come down to luck
that such knowledge is surpassing
your capacity to mend

the rift on which you balance
while the forces through you hum
in a harmonic convergence
with the person you've become?
