A second, an eternity a horrendous lifetime memory stretch between the ticking golden hands, And moments of pure ecstasy of love, of pain, of fantasy are held between these parting lover's hands, And their tears, so raw so true would slowly ease, if they only knew they're sheltered in God's all knowing hands. The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |
