Turning to the moonlight, flooding through my open heart
Flooding me, as quickly as I empty

Hushed into the background of an opiate mist,
Numbed into the silence, the wind vanishes

As if a reckoning of souls, and in the ashes
Warm, I lay, tucked away

And from the ashes,  the Phoenix shall rise
once again...  Warm hugs my friend...

TD...This sounded so beautiful to my ear, that I almost lost the meaning, but I'm so glad I didn't.  You are one of my favorite poets, did you know?  You are!
