if you ever
wonder why
there's no
answer when
you call

not that you
would or I
wouldn't

it might be
only trouble
on the line

but maybe
just maybe
this time
there's
no line

Well James, you left me in a "whoah."  Brief, sharp, to the point, AND VERY, VERY WELL DONE!

This is great work.

Kinda like that feeling,  when the phone
rings...you pick it up....only silence..
and then...the dial tone finally appears..

And you are left wondering...was it?

Excellent write James,  thank you..

Hi, P & E & M! That's the kind of thing that a person would hope for, but you never can tell.

We're sorry... the number you have dialed is no longer in service.

Sorry. *G* This made me think of so many things... some very sad, some ridiculous (obviously... though at least I did spare you my ET imitation. *G*)

So rather than wrap myself into knots trying to detail my thought paths, I'll just join the WHOA crowd... and tell you I like this powerful poem very much. *S*

get right to it....very blunt and resolute, great expression, melikes! :Þ

i think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will gain a new perspective.

I get a very vacant feeling in reading this,
a very lonely, echoing sound.  Like walking into a room that once saw love, and now dust hugs a few sheets draped over old furniture.

Spooky.

Thank you.
