I was born in Texas It's where I've spent all my days. I don't like rodeos, or cowboy hats “Yehaaaa” isn't something I say Who really says that? I'm 47 years old, and I really do like rap When all other people my age around me say it's a bunch of crap. I'm supposed to crawl in to their narrow cage? They look at me like something’s wrong because I like heavy metal Well think on, all they like because I'm not going to conform I'm just not going to settle. I seem to step late others wonder why the wait? Why does it take so long Well I don't know I guess with me there is something wrong. I mean no one harm But I'm labeled not warm? That's just not how I feel. I don't want to hurt people So people act like are you the real deal? On every side, down every avenue I'm the road less traveled But then again, am I? Well I feel it's true. Walk a mile in my shoes If you dare See what it’s like. Change me If you choose. See I’m the one with no clues. hahaha, and this is the real kicker...I read this before submitting. Just in a goofy, silly, nonsense mood. |

Hi girlies...thanks to all of you.... I am so glad I don't feel so alone in this liking this stuff, and being too old. Everyone in my circles looks at me like I've lost my mind for liking Metallica, Godsmack, among other ones I can't remember right now, and Eminem, and Shaggy, and a few other rap groups. Also Coolio...Anyways the list goes on. About six months ago I wrote a poem about eminem, but I haven't been able to find it. I haven't seen 8 mile yet. I also lost my LOTR-Frodo Baggins poem. Just broke my heart. Well thanks again girlies. Rock on!!! Terri~ |
