Green, the blink of silent keys
upon the washboard of internet maze.
Locked inside a whirring demon,
awaiting release to fill the page.

Where be the flow of minutia from
the bowels of that which fills the nest?
As silent keys remain on stage
in search the trodden word through
quest.

For through the snake of black and
gold, words hover to ‘gain be read.
As eyes of tears do angrily bleed
a broken heart is eerily bled.

And till the blink of green is naught
and whence the orange does again show,
A phone shall curse the company caught
with pants pulled down as red cheeks show....

My internet connection was down for three days ..AKKKKKKKK!I wrote this in
protest....My muse gladly assisted because SHE was getting tired of me being
cranky and disrespectful to her....

LOL.. Barry.. sounds as if you spanked them bud... maybe we should add a few illustrations and move this over to Adult??? lmao...

muses.. funny how they don't like to be ignored or to be shown great disrespect, although mine seems to thrive on my protests and denials...

maybe that's why I hear the laughter when things get too quiet inside my head...

good to see you back bud...

ROFL... I enjoyed this... and can sympathize entirely too well... my ISP has taken to given me brief intervals of connect time followed immediately by freezing... Poetry time is lost to reboot time. *S*

hehehe...

don't sweat it Barry...we all have our moments

notice I'm not on as much as I used to be...stupid slow dial-up connection now instead of cable...I used to read 100 poems a night and reply...

since the database crash, I am having trouble loading each page on this site...takes forever!

LOL...so sorry!! We missed you!!!

I have bad karma with anything that performs a service..(no wise remarks here)

My cell cuts out all the time
My computer boots me all the time
Cars and vans like to bleed me dry
VCR's eat tapes (so far the DVD is good)

I swear it's something about me...
