Drive By

To catch that precious
One more glimpse
Of you
Doing the man things
That you do
With one look
And a little wave
I left my heart
In your keeping
It truly is joy
Behind this weeping.

(sigh) One little glimpse is all you ever need when leaving it all behind, just have to avoid staring too long or you may get blinded by the sunglare! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, you always write straight from the heart and we're all so happy to always hear your wonderful voice, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Suthern, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

hmmm.. while I enjoyed this I could also read  into it a couple of different things almost at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to meaning.

there is a pain buried in it that the words do not fully explain nor the honorable way you cry, hide.

Now what is a guy supposed to say when following behind.....

Yanno what/who I am speaking of?

Sheesh,  now where was I?  Oh yeah,  Ruth
this aches....stomp on his toe a few times
and maybe he will be more respectful!!!

no no no ... dont just drive by...
turn around and go back...
tell em your delivering pizza

every time I talk to you its over too soon
every day feels incomplete till you walk into the room
just say the words, I'll jump that moon.

...Mmmmmmm...we're blessed with a Laura poem....that's two poems from this Suthern lady in one day, one of each kind -- a record?

And this one is a heart-stopper! Beautiful stuff!

I am thinking on this one, and probably will be for a bit, recalling a glimpse or two of my own.  So enjoy thinking, Ms. Ruthie!

Now here, you made me think of divorced parents, "driving by" the school yard, watching their estranged child at play.  My gosh girl, did we beg the muse?  Keep it up!

Magnus: LOL... Yes... I know. LOL Not sure what a guy would say... think a gal would just enjoy the view. *G* Thank you so much! *S*

JM: Now THERE's an idea I wish I'd had. *G* Thank you! *S*

Ratleader: I needed to bring Laura out of hiding after depressing myself with that other one. *S* Thank you so much, my friend... I'm glad you liked. *S*

Patricia: The briefest glimpse feeds a hungry soul for ages, doesn't it? *S* Thank you so much, kind lady. *S*

Sunshine: I always like seeing another's view... thank you very much! *S*

aw....you really know how to feel on paper...it's so touching, thanks for the words

i think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will gain a new perspective.
