Oh woe is me
for I have lost the battle
of good over evil

I gave it everything
I could
even a brand new hood

When that awful
woman smashed it in

And now
the time has come
to let it be done

The satan van
is dead

There will be no taps
or fancy farewell
for I am broke

and a loan still looms
so I try to take it in stride
as life resumes

biting my tongue
can anyone give me a ride?

"if you won't let me fall for you
then you won't see the best that I would love to do for you"

ah... validate, validate, validate... one source of data is not enough if it is not confirmed and validated in numerous ways..

before you sing a dirge.. make sure the patient is dead...

Are suggesting, sir, that I don a pair of overalls and get out there and take a look?

I think I will wait for the evil to dissipate.

DING DONG THE VAN IS DEAD! wohooooo!

new car? or bus rides? buses arent so bad, except when people try and talk to you, when you've just HAD ENOUGH of...people.

so what did you do to him exactly, or did you pay someone to write it off? lol

Hmmm...I used to have one of those tee shirts that suggest no one rides for free, but for you, sweetheart, I'll make an exception.

Sorry to hear the van is dead.

Perhaps your luck will now turn for the better! You just might win the lottery and you will be able to buy yourself a vehicle that is absolutely DIVINE! lol

Now that Satan has bit the dust, he no longer has a hold on you!

I really am sorry to hear of your transportation problems, Susan.

Susan - what, my dear, might the karmic message be? I am sorry for your inconvenience, and any distress, but hey, if you ride a bike, you will appreciate your community in a totally new way. And if you take a bus, you will get to know those in your community better.  None of that is a bad thing.  good!!! write

LOL, but riding the bus can be another subject for poetry.
Have you tried putting oil in it??
LOL, sorry, that's what a friend asked me when my Diesel pickup died.

Heck, who would've known it was going to turn out to be a Satan van anyway?

Good writing and an apt description.

Welll..............
Since The Van Is Dead, lets give it a proper burial. We could have it compressed so we can carry it in a wagon of bright red. Bury a can of oil beside her and sing a song of farewell.
How does that sound?

I can't tell you how many dead vans I've been through. Get a new battery and move on.
