A Little bit of Puck

Within the joy of wondrous
I fly the ploy mischievous
With puckish wings of desire
I search the byways of admire.

But if you ask, I would deny
My mind and I would not comply
We play a part of duel roll
A separation of control

One a flight within the dark
Across a bridge that is an arc
Into a land of make believe
Of only thought and wish conceive

Withdrawal to a place of leisure
Accented with a stay of pleasure
A salve to sooth the care of wear
A valve to close upon despair

It is a place we all know well
We visit it in nightly dwell.

Being a Canuck I opened this immediately thinking "well, isn't great Sy has written a hockey poem", I immediately realized that it was much better than any silly hockey poem and I was being silly trying to be funny about it.

Good work!

Beautiful words left for us to read this morn Sy.
But remember, 'A dream is a wish your heart makes.'
Tea's on...I'll pour, you sip and write another dream.

When I saw the title...I though of Puck from "Real World, San Fransisco" Yikes!!!

But alas it is a poem about one of my favorite subjects...Thank you Sy for reminding me that I need more sleep...

your clever word play and poetic banter always make me smile.
Randy is dandy when hes playful as Puck.
*ww*

every time I talk to you its over too soon
every day feels incomplete till you walk into the room
just say the words, I'll jump that moon.
