Moved from a shack to a barn

While lost in her eyes
I can see smoke, and the glow
of need, smoldering

Posed, poised to enter
the most holy of holies
she opens to me

As I press deeply
in that intimate embrace
I hear angels sigh

And sing as they soar
from her spirit into mine
strengthening the bond

Then, love at long last
comes to a consummation
in flesh, twice given

Within that sigh
audible to only the keenest of senses
listen closely . . .
within the wildwind
falling from breath
flesh to flesh
as sure as the sky
shines
the sun
smiles
and the oceans roar
Tides tumble within
crashing beneath the other
taking with them
a part of each
to land upon shore
or roll out to sea
there, a lone bird soars
craning to grasp
a sight thus seen
for but a chosen few
Swift beat of wing
in tune with
each rush of wave
in that wind
which birthed her flight
she tilts her head
ever so slightly
to the growling beneath her
calling her home . . .

You are amazing . . .
and this is beautiful
