Bright colors strewn in phantom brush-strokes cascade from these Autumn hills.
They flow as if a river undulating 'neath the slanted sun.
A multi-media display that opens as the weather chills
on cusp of season fading, Jack Frosts' masterpiece has now begun.

The willows weep in yellow tones, a symphony of scattered tears,
the larch and aspen echo variations to their windswept tune.
The tusseled grasses of the field are whispering that winter nears,
the firecracker maples sound explosions by a hunters' moon.

Appearing in the daytime sky, a distant spotlight for the stage,
whose backdrop is a work of genius, colored by a true savant.
Performing daily matinees designed to take your breath away
an orchestra of sight and sound to mask the truth, that, what we want...

is summer, Jack, I now recall, too soon have you begun this fall.

PsychoticBunni,
Nice moniker, and thank you. Having dealt with some of the numerous psychosis my alter personas have aquired ( having nothing to do with cheap shots at some of the more popular religions ) perhaps I might suggest you visit the "stute". If you're interested, let me know and I'll provide the hyperlink. Be well.

Nan,
A thousand pardons my friend. Here, I skip out of class without so much as a "fare thee well" only to be graced by your presence in open. Most surely I am undeserving, and shall pay the limitless fine of knowing that it is so. Please forgive me my sojourn into
the vastness of 29 and remember that it was through your teachings that I acquired the confidence to so venture forth.
Your humble student.
Doc
