Perpetual thoughts can not be erased,
They race through the mind as a wild gust of wind,
Where does the game end and the reality begin?
Seems easy to not pass go, just stop, pretend
What's wrong with this in the end?
If it wasn't for the emotion, it would seem the perfect scheme, the motto with such an excellent theme,
Perpetual thoughts take hold, grasping for breath,
rounding the corner, not having a choice of tomorrow,
They know the real me, they see the inner mind,
Everything I do, why, yet for some odd reason,
I have yet to find the meaning of this treason,
That I seem to inprison my heart, to be torn apart,
maybe it's just another side of the coin,
The raging tiger that never can devour the cub,
Where does the adrenaline stop, the madness goes on,
I have no control, I just know I need this at this point in time.
It's like taking that first sip of fine wine,
craving more, or that first kiss, that first love,
addiction, obsession, deversion, who really knows,
I'm just caught up in this dream or reality,
glimmers seep out from the sides, There's really nowhere to hide, just be who I am.
Though traces of emotions seem to always block the wanting, taunting myself in the darker corners of my dream. A GAME, maybe, Reality, maybe, I'm just caught up in this web spinning a weave, not letting go.

We spend lifetimes looking for "reasons"... Perhaps that's just the point - Are the reasons relevant?  Interesting introspecton, Rosebud...

thx Nan and mystic dreamer, as far as essential they are at this point in time,
but I guess I've seemed to have become a woman with feelings out of control, maybe just the mid age thing, but it does go alot deeper, your most definitely right.
