+*+*+*+*+

Peaches, grapefruits,
Apples, pears,
Plums and kiwis,
At market squares.

Bakers offering,
Sample treats,
Of tarts and pies ~
Delicious eats!

Plump tomatoes,
Ears of corn,
Arrive at market
By early morn.

Fresh meats and fish,
Of every sort,
Come by rail,
Truck, plane and port.

Fruits and vegetables,
Beyond compare,
So head on down,
To market square!

Q ~

You honor me with your poetry ~ and your exceptionally giving and caring ways!

Perhaps I should head your way first before I go to the market square.

Warm autumnal hugs & fresh pumpkin pie!

I love the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto and I also enjoy visiting the country markets in the outlying areas.

That's a great place to go to on a Saturday morning! Perhaps ours paths may cross there someday--but we will most likely not even realize it! lol

(smiles) Yay! (does happy market lindy-hop) I love farmers markets especially because all the food and preserves they have are natural and taste so wonderful! (kiss on cheek) Yay, keetle corn, yay, this is such a delightful poem, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
