Through withered leaves
of rose and tree
lined paths do drift

and meet stirring
rising beneath the sky

Egress, to a way around
the stinging thorns
and snatching branches
that try to bar

A cord thus drawn
from wrist to hand
and hand to wrist

and back again

four points crossed
with silken twine
to bind thy soul for evermore

two hands, now joined
to tempt the fates
that would dare to test

the strength of strings

Wow! Another excellent duet to add to my library... Good job, you two!

Ahh, here's something that accurately portrays both of your talents in a wonderfully harmonic collaboration... I can see Ed's cache of wisdom glowing through with Suzie's ever-fresh and reverent perspective...

You two create something beautiful, in poetry and also, I'm sure, in each other's lives.  Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Thanks to all that take the time to read our ramblings.

We both love the idea of a handfasting.

(We'll just need a willing witch to do the honors)

Thanks for posting this Baby

Of all the rituals, I think I like doing handfastings the best.

A great poetic statement.  Thank you for sharing it.

(sigh) Oh Sue and Wranx, this is a gorgeous duet, sweet friends, I believe string and twine only grows thicker and more flexible when spun around the working, caring fingers, yay, I love it! (big group hug) God Bless You All, yay, we all love you so much! You have such bautiful hearts, sweet Sue and Wranx, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you both!

Some believe that the whole universe is
made up of one big pile of strings...

From the power and beauty from love such as this...

I’m starting to think they might
have something there...

Thank you two, always, for holding us all together...
