Night's splendor has passed away;
For as the ghostlit tide of morning tugs
heaven's milky orb, her shimmering diamonds
fade, and sleepy lids open
to meet the breathless, new break of day
All is eclipsed on this ethereal shore
except dreams
gathered like starry clouds
of you.

Lovely words, beautiful vision in this one. You have a typo in line three-should be 'shimmering'.

Thanks all...esp. Nan for putting the "shimmer" back into my poetry!
