I don’t think I’m strong enough
Not to break at every hurdle
This is what life is to me
Things keep coming
I keep wondering why I fall
But I stand at the foot of every mountain
And somehow my feet know how to climb
But then I fall

How is this justice
I climb up each mountain
It takes every little piece of me
And even when I’m stumbling
Somehow my knees know how to crawl
And my legs know not to break

But when I reach the summit
The tears start coming
And all I want to do is jump down
Fall down
Make my resting place
Somewhere at the bottom of this lake of tears

I don’t think I’m strong enough
Not to break at every hurdle
This is what life is to me
Things keep coming
I keep wondering why I fall
But I stand at the foot of every mountain
And somehow my feet know how to climb
But then I fall

Maybe if you take a look at yourselves
Maybe you’ll realise how you don’t help me
Not to fall
You don’t care enough
No one takes the time enough
Just to realise what makes me slide
Slide so far and fall

Even when I’m holding on
Even when I’m holding so tight to nothing
Things keep coming
And when I run away
I fall

I’m not strong enough
Not to break at every hurdle
And I keep wondering
Why no one cares enough
To take my hand and help me up
And stop me from falling.

well, I will hold out my hand, if you will promise to keep climbing and writing
hugs to you, as always, with a song
