state of confusion

Her ideas bleed through pages
making scribbles on the backside.
To read what’s there, one must
view with blurred eyes,

then figures float off paper,
rising in bumps and lumps
of partially fleshed-out fantasies.
There, see? A hole has been scratched,

formed by perception.
Her story isn’t of a huntress
as claimed in the beginning.
She has hidden her kills

and now she’s Running Deer,
spooked, with an unsteady gait.

Her trail is without territory,
flitting from forests to the shore,
to gather her ending together
into something akin to forever.

I've been feeling unsettled lately,
and this fits my feeling very well.
Thank you Corinne.  You always come

Very nice Core.

Don't know why, but this is particularly fine:
"Her story isn’t of a huntress
as claimed in the beginning.
She has hidden her kills"

A fine piece of poetry, I especially enjoyed the first verse...it just flowed off the tongue.  Exellent writing!!
