Imagine Vincent Price saying this on a
dark and stormy night.
For Fellow Ghouls

It Is I!

Death and mayhem will come to all of you this
stormy, haunted night.
I’ll quietly creep towards your cozy little cottage with its brightly colored
flowers and curtains made of snowy lace.
That darkened shadow floating across your bedroom window when you are sleeping
peacefully in your innocence.
The one you do not see
Even when your eyes are wide open
That is I.
The cry of agony on the screaming wind
On this cold errie moonless night
That sound you hear
Is the sound of a madman in desperate pain
It is I.
Scream! Run!
It won’t help to moan and flee in terror
For I come tonight
Lock your windows, lock your doors
Hide if you can
My ghostly spirit is out tonight,
stalking, moving silently.
Scream if you can-
Only silence
will ring within the shadowy darkness.
Listen!
If you dare.
The feeling someone is near,
a silent breath
Your spine tinkling with fear
As a cold frightening hand brushes your
flushed skin
It is I.
Do not move, I’m behind you
You’re Mine
“Ha ha ha ha ha!!”

"It is I coming to your door for
CHOCOLATE."

My imagination always seems to pull
Vincent's voice into anything to do
with this type of writing...
