Within

Within the dark my candle burns
Dwindles small with all its yeans
Lighting but a bit of space
But in that light I see your face.

It is a face of phantoms dwell
That shines from out my wishing well
A face that haunts my spirits sight
A face within a halo’s light

A ghost that flowers in my dream
A grace that fills my every seem
A nautilus that sails the blue
A magic mote of crystal dew

Within the dark its credit lies
Within the dark its spirit flies
Within a veil it stays the day
To sway the night in awesome play

I dare not catch this apparition
For fear it will destroy Emission

Could those couplets be any cooler?
any more clever or poetically delightful?

Someone call EMS,  I think I am having a
coronary.....I believe I found a spelling
mistake in HIS poem............Could that
possibly be?   Aside from a slip,  always
your classic style that greets our day.

Thank you Sir Sy.....
