stuck between
as they say
a rock and a hard place
yesterday and today

while I sit
on this park bench
past memories
sling their whiplashes

flinging salt on open wounds
like sea waves
lashing on bruises
left behind by
crimson layered sunsets
almost
insultingly

never knew
something so beautiful
can hurt
this bad

never thought
that the breeze would
try to fault
the rustling
of leaves
and the flight of
butterflies

but then
life is full of
decision trees

Very intent write, full of awareness and the beauty of life, even in the not so nice times.

This one quickly jumped its way into my library and my heart...

Sudhir, my friend...such a fresh idea, a "decision tree".  Loved the poem!

Love it!!  Good to read you again m'friend.
I see your location has changed...

(big hugggsssssss) Yes indeed, and they too have much foliage always so the possibilities remain endless! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is whimsically serene, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
