great unspoken thoughts within
soft sad memories

Mists too thin to grasp
Hung heavy folds thick enough
To separate us.

Cologne's fragrance sifts
through pillow casings to dreams
scenes to float upon

I think we all have known and felt this
nostalgic moment...at least a dozen times
or more...wondering IF something might have
come of a step forward, vice the hesitance
of standing still...

Excellent write, enjoyed.

Well, if you're going to have sad memories, do go for the soft ones.....
