AS LIFE AND DAYS GO ON

There’s so much that within we see
That contemplation can set free
For now its warmth does comfort me
Although the cloud and grey
Within the mind of truth and dream
In sight of time of now and seen
To what can be and what has been
Decisions made in day

Voices that I so well  know
That on and on and on do go
Which help me on when I get low
Within the mind so full
I may listen, or may not
Try again or lose the plot
Realise just how much I’ve got
And call myself the fool

Life does seem a rolling wheel
That rolls upon all that we feel
And we may question what’s the deal
As life as days go on
To realise as we slowly grow
That everything we’ll never know
That days will come and days will go
As life and days go on

Dear Dixie, nice to see you here again my friend, thanks for the reply, each one means a lot to me. I contemplate maybe too often and not too often on the bright side of life, but I am trying harder and harder to. Hope all is well with you, again thanks and see you soon.

Sincerely
Rick

You know I had the very strong mental picture of a big wheel, like one of those you see in scenic pictures, with the pond. As I read, the flow of the words matched the movement of the wheel, and I enjoyed the experience!! Great writing, and I see I shall learn much from you!!  ~S~

Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart  ~S~

Finally, I have made it to you. A rolling wheel indeed...but I keep hitting bumps.  My PC kicked me out four times before I could get to you!

Beautifully written, Rick.  Your rhyme and flow are just lovely.
