I am sorry Dad, for the pain I've put you through
Please tell me you know how much I Love You
I never meant to cause you pain
You are the one I try to protect from the rain

I wish I could make things different, like they use to be
Through the tears I cry, sometimes I can barely see
Never did I mean to lie, I really didn't no matter what you think
I only tried to do what was right, and it all went downhill in a blink

If I could do it all again, I would have told you the truth from the first day
Then you wouldn't be hurting, and feeling this way
Let me back in like you use to, I'll do anything to make things right
For our relationship I'll always cherish, and for you I will always fight

"love is like a butterfly--
if you chase it,
it will surely fly away,instead
hold it close and watch it grow into
something beautiful"
~me~
